Be there...Burning Man 2009...for a 43Things Convergence!

Freakin event is over. I need to do something to get this off my list.

I failed on the 43T Convergence part, but Burning Man was a success.

I WILL do better next time. I swear! Next year, and yes, we were planning next year before we even left, I will faithfully register my camp.

There will be cheers with The Man!

I’m a big loser and didn’t get to register camp, hence, no 43 Things Convergence. All my fault and I don’t have a good reason.

On the Burning Man site, they mention a camp Directory. I’m not sure exactly where I’ll end up. We will be in general camping. Somewhere.

I will call my camp “The Surly Camp” and put it in the directory once we get set up. We should be arriving Sunday sometime.

Playa Event Calendar

We will be constructing a trial run of the dome home.

Mr. Surly, I’m sure would be thrilled to know I’m calling him that, has an idea with metal conduit. We shall build it in our backyard and see how it goes.

My neighbors, if they didn’t think I was crazy, they will now be convinced!

I’m thinking a geodesic dome. (like I have sooooo much free time, I needed to create a construction project?)

We’ve done some research (and model building) and I’m loving this idea.

Now I need to conjure up some kind of covering.

Still waiting for ideas on theme camp…

And we need a theme camp with a cool name!
