I’m not 100% positive, but I think I’m down to around a 9:30 mile. Not bad especially considering it’s over the hills of Pennsylvania and in the heat of the summer! I’m starting to believe I can really make it.
At first the goal was to get my normal run time down to 8 minutes so I could consistently run 2 8-minute miles a couple times a week. Now I think it’s going to be one day of frantically running like hell, finish a mile in 8 min and say “I accomplished my goal! And now I’m never doing that again.”
