move to philadelphia

I, too, am thinking of moving to Philly. Grew up in central/western PA but have lived my whole adult life in big cities outside of the state. Really miss PA but need the city. Sooo … thinking Philly. (Would like to be near all the east coast stuff.) How are the rest of you transplants liking it? You hear such horror stories … seems a little scary. Would love to the perspectives of those who have already moved there. Thanks!
