I had two parking fines that ended up at $800 because the local authority didn’t acknowledge that we had a disabled parking badge and refused to listen.
I appealed to the court and they threw the case out.
I would like to add that the bailiff was very nasty and wouldn’t listen to reason and said that he had put out a call on my car and if it was seen anywhere it would be possessed immediately.
He had no regard for my disabled mother or myself who was pleading that it was a wrongly imposed fine and that I was entitled to park there.
So a lesson there folks don’t get intimidated … he only earns his money buy getting it out of you… there is justice if you appeal it.
