Just the facts, Ma'am - Oct 5 2 months ago

1 egg + 1 egg white w/peppers
sauteed spinach
1/4 cup hash browns (cooked in Pam, not too bad)
coffee (3)

Lean Cuisine pizza (all the good stuff)

3oz whole wheat pasta tossed with sauteed brocc, onion, musroom
Tossed then with a teeny bit of butter and loads of parmesan cheese
(loads, I say!)

Wine – yep. yep.



Food: Oct 3 2 months ago

Fruit smoothie w/flax & scoop of protein powder
coffee (2)

banana

1/2 vegetable sandwich w/avocado spread
1 cup tuscan lentil soup

Heaping plateful zuccini/squash baked in marinara



Tuesday, Sept 29 - the Finale 2 months ago

And this, gentle readers, will give quite a lot of insight into why I have a never-ending goal of “lose 10 lbs (and then 10)...”

Snack: 1/2 roast beef sammich on whole wheat (160 cals)
Lunch: Amys Tofu Lasagna (310 cals)

Dinner: Mexican night. Jeez!
1/2 basket tortilla chips w/nacho cheese
2 soft shell tacos (steak,chorizo; Heaven Bless the chorizo)
1 skinny margarita, extra strong
Later in the night:
2 glasses of wine
2 Oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, maybe three

::sigh:: that was about a billion calories from dinner onwards.

Tonight will be better.



Keeping it Real: Breakfast Sept 29 2 months ago

Breakfast burrito made with:

1 egg
1 egg white
splash skim milk
red pepper
large pinch of ched/jack chz
1 slice bacon
1 whole wheat tortilla

2 cups strong coffee

Yummy and filling. ~ 280 cals



Feb 6 - Food is good 10 months ago

Breakfast:
3 eggwhites: scrambled w/ spinach and lite smoked sausage (mmm)

Snack:
Banana

Lunch:
2 oz grilled chicken breast with leftover Rat’s Sauc Kacang (still so good)

Pre-Dinner:
5 pringles
Bite of over-ketchuped hamburger

Dinner:
Large Salmon salad with asparagus and balsamic vinagrette
Cabernet (2)



Feb 5 - Sustenance 10 months ago

Breakfast:
3 scrambled egg whites, ham, spinach, smidge cheese

Lunch:
2 black bean burgers, no bun

Snack:
Wasa cracker, light cream cheese, smoked salmon, capers

Dinner:
Stir fry of: brussel sprouts, sweet potato and sweet onion



Feb 1-4: Catching up 10 months ago

Feb 1 (Superbowl Sunday)- Disaster:
Smoothie
Banana
chopped salad and soup
2 handfulls Lays potato chips
Wasa, cream cheese, smoked salmon
1/2 round of melty brie, crackers, 1/2 grilled chicken breast, grapes
wine (2), beer (2),
Dark chocolate almonds
ahem, burp!

Feb 2 – Like a Bird:
3 eggwhites, scrambled, ham, pinch of cheese
chopped salad w/grilled chicken breast
whole wheat english muffin w/peanut butter and banana

Feb 3 – Sensible:
canadian bacon
banana
the hugest salmon salad w/ balsamic vinagrette
grouper w/ grilled asparagus

Feb 4 – Peanut heaven:
banana
canadian bacon
2 black bean burgers (sans bun)
apple
Boston Lettuce Shrimp Wraps w/ Rat’s Sauc Kacang (Indonesian peanut sauce)



Jan 31 - Still OK 10 months ago

Not entirely true to my detox, but 80% good, I’d say. Detox is over tomorrow, and I have to say I feel great! Scale down 6.9lbs this morning.

The list:

warm water with lemon (2)
Banana
3 bites plain yogurt with fruit
Avocado chopped salad
11-Bean soup
whole grain bread with a smidge o’ butter
Cabernet (1)

Jan 30 - Oops 10 months ago

Broke detox a bit today. Not too bad. It’s nearly over anyways and I have done quite well.

The list:

water w/ lemon
banana
smoothie
apple
2 black bean burgers (no bun)
grilled salmon
grilled asparagus

Water water water water water water water



Jan 29th Food - this isn't so bad 10 months ago

Scale down 5.3 lbs. Great! I wonder what will happen next week when I start adding back in foods (lean proteins, some whole carbs).

plain (sour) yogurt w/ berries

the juiciest pear!
stir fry of yellow squash, zucchini, eggplant, peppers with Saffron (Thank You to Petrnotail for the suggestion!)
