I need more reminders about this- esp. given the role breast cancer has played in my family’s life in the past 5 years. First, my p. grandmother passed away after a long battle, and then my p. aunt beat it after finding a lump early on, and most recently my mom caught it early (thankfully another breast cancer survivor at work gave her one of those reminder placards) and after being hyper-aggressive and pro-active with her doctor and in scheduling appts., two years later her bi-annual mammograms are coming-up clean.
