31. He rocks at his job
32. I admire him for being brave and making a big career change which has really paid off for him
33. He’s really great at just talking to people and communicating. Sometimes I need a big of prompting :)
34. He is so supportive of me starting my business and always has lots of good ideas
35. Since we’ve been together he’s picked up a lot of homeopathic lingo and likes to drop the names of remedies as often as he can. It’s ultra cute and melts my little hippie heart
36. He tells me that he thinks I’m cute every single day
37. He loves it when I wear my colourful headscarves
38. He does all the electronic stuff in the house because he knows it stresses me out
39. He makes the best spaghetti bolognaise. He takes it so seriously….it cracks me up. But it does taste delicious
40. He’s smart. He’s knows lots of stuff and never fails to point that out
41. He has cute little songs that he sings when I do things….it’s hard to describe but i love it
42. He irons far more often than I do, and if I ever need a skirt ironed he does it for me
43. He has nice lips
44. He likes to talk about our future and all the things that we’re going to do together. Okay so I added an extra one!

I’m so grateful that Damian came into my life and it’s hard to believe that after nearly 3 years together I love him more now than ever before. I’m a lucky, lucky girl.

22. He lets me have ‘the power’ of the remote
23. He made me amazing business cards
24. He makes me feel safe
25. When I’m too tired to get something that I want he gets it for me
26. When I buy new clothes he lets me do fashion parades for him and acts interested
27. He makes me laugh at my neurosis
28. I trust him more than I thought I’d ever trust anybody
29. He’s introduced me to lots of new foods – like couscous and brie cheese
30. He brings home ‘nerdy’ shirts from work because I knows I like to use them as PJ’s :)

14. Him and my brother get along so well which makes me happy because they are 2 very important people in my life
15. He thinks it’s important that we have a ‘date night’ once a week. It’s always really fun and we always look forward to it
16. When I’m cranky and don’t want to talk he always makes me (which might piss me off at the time) and i feel a million times better afterwards
17. He completely accepts me and has never gotten scared

19. He is such a good person and always there for other people
20. He watches Sex and the City with me

8. The first thing he usually says to me in the morning is ‘I love you’
9. He always spoons me because it’s the only way I can get to sleep. Even if I wake him up in the middle of the night :)
10. He calls me everyday from work just to say hi

Tonight I was crying, and within no time has had me laughing so hard it hurts. I don’t know how he does it, but I sure do love him for it.

6. This afternoon we had to go into the city to pick up some concert tickets. I really didn’t feel like being in the city, and was getting all stressed out and cranky and overwhelmed with all the people. So he took me to buy a ‘hippie magazine’ (a natural health magazine) and we went to the park and layed on the grass reading with me using his tummy as a pillow. I couldn’t think of a nicer way to spend an afternoon. He said to me ‘this is so nice, we should do it more often’. I’m so lucky to have a boyfriend who encourages my love of laying on the grass and reading hippie stuff.

1. Our differences
In many ways, Damian and I really couldn’t be any more different. He’s as much of a computer loving nerd as I am a hippie at heart :) Early in our relationship all of our differences used to freak me out when I’d think about it too much. But these days, I’m so happy that I’ve found someone so different and unique to myself. We’re both so fiercly into the things we love, I think we’d feel smothered if it were any different! Plus, I’m always learning something from him and we balance each other out perfectly.

2. Patience
And trust me, he needs patience living with me sometimes! No seriously, he is such a patient person! He never complains when I take forever to get ready or when I take forever choosing something. I definately love that about him.

3. His ability to make me laugh
Even when I’m in a foul mood, he is the one person who can have me in hysterics. He brings out my playful side, and is so silly sometimes – I just adore this side of our relationship.

4. He can see straight through me
Okay, so this kind of annoys me sometimes…..but Damian can tell how I’m feeling or what kind of mood I’m in without me even saying a word. I don’t know how he does it, even when I think I’m doing a good job at putting on my ‘happy face’ he can see what’s really going on.

5. He’s my biggest supporter
No matter what I’m up to I always know that I have his support. He believes in me even when I don’t believe in myself, and never says anything to bring me down. I value that so much.

I’m utterly in love with the boy in my life :) I’d like to share what we have, and do something arty with the list for our anniversary later this year. I remember when Saafir did a similar goal about his gorgeous wife, it was so beautiful and inspiring.
