find a new job

Well I went camping this weekend with my girlfriends and the one that told me about the job said they were checking one last reference on someone and then going to offer them the job, well none of my references were contacted at all and today when I came into work I checked the status of the app just to see what it might say and it did say “sorry not selected”. So that was a let down but on the other hand 2 of my best friends work there, not the same dept I was applying for but the same gen area and I don’t know it might be hard working with friends and then second I just have to look at it like my job currently lets me come and go and do what I want which is nice with a sick mother and a son who is teething. It just pays badly but I got online today looking at jobs and sent my resume to 3 places and applied online for another so it’s in The Lords hands whatever he feels is best for my life will be and that’s all I can do.

I’m starting to get nervous about this, I really just want to know one way or another. I hope they call tomorrow as today is mostly over. If not tomorrow I guess i’ll go through the weekend wondering.

I had my interview today, I think it went really well, but you never known really what type of impression you make on others. I met with the HR lady then she took me right up to the manager and supervisor and I met with them for another 30minutes or so. They said I should know by the end of the week, so now I just have to wait and see.

A Lady from the hospital called me today, I have an interview set up on July 7th, it’s a little far off but gives me plenty of time to go buy a new outfit!

So I applied for this position at the hospital i’ve been trying to get into for a while, everytime it opens up I apply too late and the interview process has already started. However I did apply last week, I wonder how long I should wait until I call and check on my resume. Two of my friends work at this hospital, not the same dept I applied for but the one girl told me today they are just now starting to call for interviews.
