I first got hooked on Psych by a friend in College. She asked all of us at a table 3 simple questions, and by taking our descriptions metaphorically she was able to tell us amazing things about ourselves.
1) If you could be any animal what would you be and why? If you couldn’t be that animal, what would your 2nd choice be and why?
2) What is your favorite color and how would you feel in a solid room of that color?
3) What is your favorite drink and why?
Since then I got hooked on any archetype system I could find, and discovered along the way that they are all interrelated. Jung’s archetypes through the Meyer-Briggs sorter was my Rosetta stone of sorts (www.Keirsey.com to take it yourself)
I’ve mapped color analysis to handwriting analysis to the Meyer-Briggs to astrology (I just found out a month ago that Jung based his work on astrology… its a bummer it took me 15 years to find that out ;-)
But for those that have read Isaac Asimov’s characters from I-Robot and other works, you may understand why I want to be a robopsychologist “when I grow up” ;-)

Interpretations to questions:
o Your favorite animal and how you describe it is how you view yourself, and what you are trying to accomplish.
(Same interpretation as the Luscher Color Test’s 1st pair of colors)
o Your 2nd favorite animal is what you are willing to accept about yourself and how others view you.
(Same as the 2nd pair of Luscher colors)
o How you describe being in a room of your favorite color is how you would describe death.
o How you describe your favorite drink, is how you would also describe making love.
Remember to listen and interpret the words for their metaphors!
