Pay off this stinking Bank of America credit card

I’ve been slipping on this goal, not because of negligence…but because of unforunate events. Our battery in our car died and we had to buy a whole new one. Even though we’ve been through 2 cars before, we trusted someone elses opinion about where to get a battery.

Probably because it was Wal-Mart and it was across the street.

We get there and it was 90 dollars almost.

Knowing we could’ve got a battery for 75 at Auto Zone pissed me off even more.

And because I’ve been saving for Babe’s birthday we didn’t have the money to pay for the battery…

...so we used credit.

I’m starting to believe I’ll (we’ll) never get our of debt. The other day Babe says “I’m paying for a debt that I didn’t create…” Or something to that effect…

I can’t wait to be done with this goal, I’ll jump with joy…

I’ve been distracted with Babe’s birthday, and my credit card is just accruing interest in the mean time. I haven’t forgotten though, I’m back on it this month.

Tomorrow’s pay day, yay!

I was headed toward a $700 debt, and I was bringing my husband along with me. We have a joint credit card account, but I was the only one swiping.

And that’s so unfair…

I shredded my card, and we kept his for emergencies. We have so far brought it down to a little over $500. Hopefully we can keep going even when I have the urge to result to the “easy” route. I think we can, it’ll be so wonderful being credit card debt free!
