20 Years this year since I finished high school. There is a reunion planned for October. Initially I had no interest whatsoever in going but now that I’ve been in touch with some long lost friends and remembering the fun times I had I am going and really looking forward to it. My daughter Molly is going to come along (although not to the reunion – there is talk of her serving the finger food though)and we’re going to have a mother/daughter weekend away in Melbourne. Do some shopping and catch up with some old friends of ours. Can’t wait!! Hurry up tax return so I can book it all :-)

In two weeks…hmmm..maybe it’s next week I’d better check that!
So yes, Tara’s first. I’m going to ring up one of the mum’s I’ve become friendly with and see if she wants to take the girls out to dinner before hand. We also have to bring a plate of something for supper…I’m not really sure what constitutes a “plate of something for supper” so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :-)
to someone telling me how I know who on 43T is having a birthday and when????? :-) Can someone explain this to me please?
TIA
I’m looking forward to take away Indian and a beer.
shhh..don’t tell the doctor though, I probably shouldn’t be drinking beer with an infection! oops ;~) It’s been a stressful week and I need to end it on a nice comfort eating and drinking note
is Chasers War on Everything show. Can’t wait!! I have great seats, a lovely hubby to accompany me, a babysitter and I’m even going to wear a frock! :-)
tonight out in the sticks. Apparently with some hillbilly Tasmanians. lol. Having a pub meal first :-) and NO kids!!! Hurrah!!
I’m looking forward to going out kid free for two different functions! One is the Chasers War on Everything show and then that weekend we will be going out with some friends for dinner. I’m hanging out for some time out from kid life!!!!!
The project I have been working on for nearly two years is slowly slowly nearing completion. After a lot of mad research, brain storming, designing, creating, talking, talking, networking, political wrangling and so very much of my being, very soon we will be launching the website component of our project. I’m feeling so much trepidition and my boss still has quite a bit of content that he needs to start writing but it’s really all going to happen in the next few weeks and I can’t wait to finally ‘show’ people. The amusing part is that it won’t seem like much at all. It will just seem like a straight forward resource portal but it is so much more than that. When the other website comes into being I hope then that people can see just how much development and conceptualising has gone into this. It hasn’t all turned out how we truly wanted due to many political factors within the blindness agencies and the education sector, but it’s main focus is on strengthen families and I think we will have achieved that. I can’t tell you how proud it makes me feel to potentially make a difference in the independence and quality of life of a child who is blind or visually impaired.
as I get to watch my current fave series: Underbelly and sit here with a drink, my laptop and a good show :-)
It’s quite cold here tonight. I celebrated by cooking up a big pot of chicken and vegetable soup and we even have the heat pump on. Nice and cosy. :-)
