So! I am now 123 pounds. I haven’t been eating the best I can recently, but I hope to reinstate my healthy habits once this crazy semester’s over.
I went home for Spring Break and one of my friends gave me some of her old American Eagle/Holister clothing. I can fit into a size 4 jeans!!! :D Granted, they’ve been broken in, but still, I’m so happy I can fit into those sizes with some room to spare on the legs.
I need to do some butt exercises since I don’t have one. :\
The aquatic center opens in two weeks and I’m taking up ballroom and salsa dancing again. The other night I went to a dance studio and danced for three hours, made me realize how much I miss it.<3
So I’m only 8 lbs away from my goal, though I would be pretty satisfied with being in the 118-119 range. We’ll see.

Well, I’m down to 125 lbs, though it didn’t come through the most ideal way…I’ve been bedridden with a bad cold for the last three days and didn’t have the appetite to eat more then one healthy meal a day (usually less). I’ve been drinking a lot of fluids, about the only thing I can stomach 100%. See if I go snowshoeing again…
This might be a good start though to do things the right way. I’m headed home for Spring Break and hope to jam it full of things to do and healthy eating with no school stress attached! After break, the mega fitness place is going to have its opening weekend. I’m so excited it has a POOL (there wasn’t one closer then 30 miles from where I live)!! I plan to jumpstart the fitness routine again by swimming at least three times a week. I’m taking a dance class and I’m also in dance club too, which supplies my low-impact workouts.
I’m eating a salad, fruit, yogurt, and protein everyday. Hoping to see more results when the sun comes out, it’s snowing right now! o_O;

I’ve seen the 120’s for the first time in ages!!
I finally have a scale for the house so I can track my progress. I tried it twice: once it said 126.8 and then 128.0. Either way, I’m happy that the weight is finally coming off.
I’m looking for a job that will keep me active, though the economy sucks right now. I’ve applied at 25+ places, danggit!! I am going to join the gym again, but I dunno how to manage with 19 credits this semester (one of them is modern dance).
Over vacation I was working at my grocery job and lost a ton of inches on my thighs. I bought a new pair of jeans that were really tight at the start of vacation. Now they are loose on me, especially on the butt and legs. I will try on a size five today. :D
I also have a roommate now who’s a size zero (and so are her sisters who drop in every so often). Talk about inspiration now!

Winter Break
I lost a couple pounds this last month, but that’s not enough. Exams and being sick made it impossible for me to go to the gym for the last three weeks. I’m home now. I was hoping my dad would get another elliptical, but he got this stupid rowing machine instead…I tried it and burned 60 calories in an HOUR, and I was doing it harder then my dad does.:\ So I dunno how to workout over my break besides running around at work.
Now that my mom’s in charge of dinners, I’m going to be struggling to cut the carbs out at night.
I want to try the Master Cleanse, but my parents would freak out if they found out.
I hope I can lose at least three pounds while I’m up here. There’s a scale up here; I’ll get one for myself when I go back for college. :)
Merry Christmas!

I lost one stinkin’ pound last month. That’s after lifting weights twice a week at the gym with my trainer and a couple cardio sessions every few days. I wasn’t good with having zero carbs at night, pasta kills!
:<
I can’t let this discourage me, though. I lost an inch pretty much everywhere on my body (except my chest :P), so my conclusion is I’ve gained muscle, which weighs more then fat, so in reality I HAVE lost more weight then the scale shows. IT LIES, I TELL YOU!!
I don’t have the personal trainer now. I can’t go to the gym until next week when I can pay the monthly bill.
Everything’s gonna be alright; I have the whole winter to get in shape for the hot weather. My plan is to be 115 by the end of May. I doubt it’ll be that hard.:)

I ate microwavable food for the first time in four months tonight. I was going to have chicken, but I was running on a tight schedule to get to my night class so I couldn’t cook anything. GOD I STILL FEEL BLOATED. It was just Red Barron cheese pizza, but, oi, my body didn’t like it at all…I got all bloated and felt sick to my stomach.
Just to think: I was used to having this junk EVERYDAY. gag
I have no idea what I weigh now, I think a couple ounces have come off, though I’m not too concerned at the moment. I’m eating healthy and working out nearly every day.
I also got a green tea fat burner to try. I heard they were the only ones that could potentially work, don’t want to do something too crazy.
So that’s my progress.=)

The Beginning
I’ve met my trainer, and she’s helped me through two sessions of the workout. My next session is tomorrow. It’s a tough workout, but feels AMAZING after you stop.
She said my diet wasn’t bad, I just need a lot more protein and I have to eat more then I was before. The six meals a day thing is actually going to be the hardest part because I have a calorie obsession. o_O But, I’m gonna trust her and start bulking up the eating habits.
I’ve also taken up to exercising every day after school. It didn’t go so good yesterday, I turned up the treadmill too high and fell off! >_< So I’ve decided I’m going to use the Treadstepper instead. LOL I burned 500 cals today, it felt too easy to be true…hmm…
I’m excited too because my boyfriend also joined the gym! He’s a bigger guy, and he doesn’t have a lot of energy because of Hashimoto’s Disease, so I think this will be really good for him.^^
Thanks for the support everybody!
Oh, by the way, between the time I first weighed myself and meeting my trainer for the first time, I lost 6 lbs. :D

(I love “What About Bob?” :D Freakin’ hilarious movie)
I joined a gym today, it’s sorta close to where I go to school; this will force me to go on a frequent basis after classes. My original plan was to go five days a week. However, this is a unique gym: I will be having a personal trainer the first month, and he/she will run me through a drill that I’ll only need to do twice a week (the owner said it tears your muscles and builds them back up…o_O).
I start on Thursday! I’m honestly really excited about it.:) I’ve done the workout DVD twice and do sit-ups while watching TV, but this is going to be SO much better. I don’t care how long it’s going to take me, it’s going to be life-changing!

Setbacks...
So I got a workout DVD. That’s a start…I intended to begin this morning at 8:30 AM, but guess what? THE FREAKIN’ TV’S BROKEN. ><;; Back when I moved in, I got my parent’s old TV, but the remote didn’t work the first time we tried to use it, so they took it home. I thought I’d be able to navigate the DVD menu with just the buttons, but none of them scroll down. And the menu’s set up where I just can’t push the play button, they just HAD to make the first option the custom routine.
Bah. :(
I guess I can do it on my computer, though there’s going to be limited space AND I’ll hardly be able to see it. Can’t do it today because I have two classes at noon with schoolwork to do….

I’ve wanted to do this for about 3 years now. I’ve had my weight problems since I was really young. I lost about 50 when I was 13 to get in shape for softball and I was probably 100 lbs, and everyone said I looked pretty skinny. After the season I stopped working out. I didn’t eat badly; I stopped having fast food and got a stocking job AND went to taekwondo twice a week. I still gained weight, though I think it’s more muscle then not.
I’m 20 and a college freshie (again), living in my parent’s condo by myself, so I want to get in the best shape possible!^^
I don’t have a scale in the house, but I think I’m 130, if not a few pounds more. I rarely eat anything prepacked or go out to eat, I make all my meals from scratch. My mom used to feed me ALOT of food when I was living at home, but I’ve cut down to two meals a day with 1 or no snacks. I drink fruit juice a couple days a week, but usually more water then that.
As for exercise now, I take a self-defense class at school and have to park far enough away from the campus that I have to walk 20 minutes each way. I walk about a half-hour after classes too; I’ve tried running a couple times but I need more motivation. :/ I know all that’s not enough, so I’m going to take either a pilates or kickboxing class next semester (I tried to register before but they were full, and I’m taking 18 credits ><). I also have a metal DDR pad to set up (I used to do it everyday for 20 minutes 2 years ago). Maybe I’ll get an exercise DVD too?
I know if I take fitness classes I’ll DEFINITELY be able to get the figure I want. Either 115 or a size 5, whatever comes first. :D
