I originally had an entry to sell another graphic novel but I’ve moved on to the big wide world of full text and no pictures. I feel there are more opportunities in novels and I would like to try my hand at it.
I already have a potential offer, I just need to write a synopsis and submit a few sample pages. I need to get into gear. I’m not sure what my hold up is. I know I will sell the book, I just need to get on the ball and submit the sample and finish writing it.
I’m having that part way into the story phobia where I’ve hit a wall, seeing how much I have left to go, worrying about screwing it up, etc. Typical writer’s block stuff. I already know the story, so, not like I can screw it up. Worried that this is my golden ticket and I’m finally at the gate? Not sure. Just like this stubborn wall. Not to mention that publishers, agents, producers always want you to hurry up…only to wait. So, maybe don’t feel any need to rush? Who knows, I just need to get on the ball and get cracking and out of this writing funk.
