It’s a start but my friend’s friend whom I’ve met and hung out with on several occassions is a successful TV producer who makes 1.5 million a year. She’s kind of been the person that I look up to who balances a great work and family life. The other day she finally asked me what I do. When I told her she was really impressed and said that I was doing the dream by being the creator and how they all have to work for other people but that everyone dreams about being able to create the product.
So, what I’ve achieved here is she finally knows what I do without me saying anything and so maybe over time I can whittle a good contact relation out of this or she can pass along some knowledge. And it’s really nice to get some validation from someone with a career like hers and that I admire.
