My husband and I have been sharing our journal entries from our pasts and talking about how relevant these things are to our lives now. In one of my journals, I mentioned that I want to live in a Victorian house. My husband said, “The next time we’re in Alameda, I want to show you a house I found several years ago.” Before we ever met. He found this Victorian house and swore to himself that if he ever won the lottery, he would make an offer on that house.
The last time we went to Alameda, we drove by the house. It looks like a castle…it’s so beautiful. I can see influences of Medieval, Arabian, and Victorian design in its structure. It has a blue dome on one of the towers. I fell in love with that house, and I know someday we’ll live there. The room under the dome will be my Gypsy room.
Just thinking about that house and the life we’ll have there makes me happy. This is my intention for my life.
