Been focusing on restoring our old farm house, and while it’s hard work, it’s not exercise, and my diet is bouncing up & down. I’m still down about 7 lbs, but I am not making much headway, and every other week I am back up 1 pound or two. :( I need to get on a steady exercise program, even something simple like walking would help.

I was out ill last week, and very busy this week catching up at work. But I am down another pound this week, so I am feeling a little better about things. I still have a long ways to go. Just need to get off my lazy butt and keep moving! :)

Okay, the last two weeks have not been kind to me. Two weeks ago it was Easter, and over indulging at the feast thrown out by my family. Last weekend, it was a celebration of my birthday, and again I over indulged. Not good for the scales. I need to get back on track with the diet, but I also need to focus on exercising and doing more activities to keep me in shape. Diet alone will not meet this goal!

Weekly weigh in, I am down two more pounds for a total loss of 14 so far. I feel like I am hitting that plateau though, and now it’s going to get harder to lose any weight. I am trying to stay strict on my diet; not overindulging, eating healthier foods and avoiding fast foods and limiting my portions. The next month is going to be the hard time for this, but I’m trying to hold strong!

Came down with a flu bug last week, spent most of the weekend and earlier this week laying down and not eating a whole lot. Weighed in four pounds down from last week. Brings me down to 10 pounds down total. Didn’t really do a whole lot to get down so I guess there’s a good side to some illnesses. :)

After a week of feeling guilty at every meal or snack, I weighed in thsi morning and I am back down 3 pounds. It’s the right direction again, but maintaining this is getting rougher. I’m down six pounds for the year though, so it’s a good start, but I’ve got a long way to go to hit my goal. I need to push harder somehow or I am going to hit that 20 pound plateau again and not be able to move beyond it.

Uggh. After a dramatic drop last week of 5 pounds, this week I am up 4 pounds. It’s VERY frustrating this up and down on the scale. On the good side, at least I am still more down from when I started.

Okay, after a week of being disappointed with my results I weighed in this morning and I am down another 5 lbs. That is more like the results I am looking for! I have managed to use my treadmill the last two weekends, and I am getting a better handle on reducing my portions of meals. Not dieting so much per se, unless you count trying the Jared Diet by eating at Subway instead of other fast food places. Overall I am just trying to be more active and eat a little less than I used to. This was a big loss as it dropped me under the 300 lb mark. Feels good.

After a weekend being sick, I weighed in today and found I had dropped a whole pound. At this rate, I won’t even make 50 lbs by the end of the year. :( On the good side, I was able to hold myself back on meals and taking the easy way out with take out foods. Just hoping this builds into better momentum to drop even more pounds!

I just have to man up on this one. I find myself snacking, or lounging and not being more active. I need to get off my butt and do more. Today I was back up two pounds. I have a net loss of 1 pound now. Almost depressing. I left myself a voice mail at home that when I get home I need to use the treadmill for 30 minutes. Maybe that or I will take my son out and go shopping. Trailing after him and keeping up with him is a workout on it’s own!
