I have 2 sons with a loser father.. he hasn’t seen them in 4 years and I have received $120 of support in 6 years, going on 7 years. My sons ages are 6(going on 7 in November) and 5 years old. They do not ask abou their father anymore, I have told them the truth whenever they have asked about him. I realized that if I tell them the truth now, they will not be BOMBED with horrible imformation later. Now, they quit asking..they understand that mommy loves, cares and provides. Kaine my eldest said to me, “Mommy find me a daddy, not a bad father like the one I have.” I had to say, “okay” leave the room and cry a bit.It was amazing and disheartning all at the same time, that it finally registerd with him. There is a diffrence and boys love their mothers and when they get older , they will stick by you, and understand how much work you did. My 6 year old tends to act 14 sometimes, probably since he is the lil man of the house. He even tells me to “relax and get a boyfriend , geesh”...gotta love him.My family is very supporting and I have finaly met someone that I like, click with and intrigues me , and he is not a LOSER!HE wants kids and he helped his sister raise his nephews , what a doll. He understands kids and boys.I hope it works out for me. We are seeing each other tonight, wish me luck.
