Wow, I finally saved up something!

I finally have $1,000 in cash saved up. Well, $1,010 to be exact. Lol. This is the most cash that I have ever saved up: Money that I don’t need to touch to pay for other expenses. It may not be a lot to other people, but it is a lot to me. I grew up with parents who were bad examples when it came to money and saving (they just spent, spent, spent), and it is only recently that I started to discipline myself and my spending habits, in order not to end up like them. Hopefully I’ll have 3x as much saved up by the end of the year! I wish I could have more money by this December, but I have to think realistically and conservatively.
