Walk to the water

This has been on my list for too long! As I’m between jobs at the moment, I do have plenty of time to be able to achieve some goals.
We have had some very temperamental weather over the last six months, I only wanted to take this walk on a day I was confident would not rain on me.

I found my way to the park and little beach quite easily. On the way to the park I found some local shops and a gourmet cafe. I had a peaceful time watching sitting by the water on my own with nobody around. A nice way to spend a Wednesday. I’ve almost forgotten what work is! :)

I should have done this over summer while we had daylight savings.
It’s been pretty cold lately (by our local standards:).
Might do this on a weekend morning. Hope to do it soonish, as I’m
sure there will be a couple of photo opportunities :)

that is a walkable distance from home (according to whereis, it’s 37 minutes walk from my door to the park). I have memories of going there a few times as a child, and have wanted to revisit this park for a while. I remembered being taken by surprise when I was shown the small beach. I’d like to return and find some more shells :)
