Do more for myself

I had a wonderful time last night. I went out to my sister in law’s hen’s night. It was so much fun. We started out the evening at The Xchange in South Yarra. We saw a great Drag Show there. One of the girls was absolutely gorgeous – you would never guess that she was a he!

From there we went to another pub that I can’t remember the name of at present. It was packed – hardly any room to move, but lots of friendly people wanting to talk to the bride to be & her friends draped in tinsel (Nicole had a veil and tiara, we had a length of tinsel draped across us!). Then it was onto The Blue Room for a short while. By this time I’d stopped the drinks – I’d had more than enough. The difference between 20 and 30 is that I now know when the drinks should stop! lol.

Then it was on to Hungry Jack’s, and then to Frost Bites (what can I say, we were desperate to keep the night going – lol).

All in all a great night, it really took me back to my younger years – well not counting the gay club, never visited one of those when I was younger!

Last night I organised a babysitter and went out to the movies by myself. Tuesday and Wednesday nights almost drove me crazy as the kids kept playing up so I knew I needed a night out. It was too late to ask a friend along, but I hade a great evening anyway. Went to see December Boys. Really enjoyed it.

Today I’ve bought myself a good bottle of red wine. It’s a lot easier to relax in the evening if you have a nice glass of wine to enjoy!
