Done Leviticus!! — 1 month ago
Finally! Now I’m onto Luke.
Finally! Now I’m onto Luke.
I am starting reading again. I just can’t wait to finish Leviticus and begin a more exciting book (next it will be Luke).
Well…I somehow got out of the habit of reading every night and stopped around midway through Leviticus. It could be because many people get bogged down in that book. It could also be because I was usually reading three versus every night and since school was done I stayed up later and didn’t feel like reading for a few minutes. However, since when I stopped reading my Bible regularly was some time shortly after I, for whatever reason, fell out of the habit of going onto 43things, I think that it is fairly safe to say this site has motivated me to read my Bible the entire time. So I think it’s also safe to say that since I am going to be on 43things as regularly as I used to be a month ago, I will start up reading my Bible regularly.
I finished Exodus last night. I found it difficult reading from verse 25 to the end with the building of the tabernacle, but I managed to get through it. I will read Mark next.
Yesterday was the first day that I did not read the Bible. My head was pounding, I was tired, and I just wanted to sleep. As of now, I am somewhere in the middle of Exodus. I plan on reading Mark next.
I’m happy to say that after nearly a month of reading the Bible every day I’d say it’s officially a habit!
last night. I am extremely familiar with the play Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat (I know all the songs off by heart) and it was interesting to see what Lloyd Webber did differently from what was written in the Bible.
Now I’m onto Exodus and after that I’ll likely read Mark.
I am now reading Genesis.
this morning! I think I will read Genesis and maybe Exodus before I read Mark.
Matthew 1-4. I admit, it is a little odd reading about Jesus’ birth as I only ever hear it at Christmastime so it’s hard-wired into my head that it’s a Christmas Bible story.
I plan on reading at least a chapter a day (or night).
