get my CA designation

I got hired by an accounting firm for co-op. My first work term starts January. It shall be fun and a new experience living away from home for a bit.

I realized that maybe, since this is a public site, I should clarify what a CA is. A CA is a Chartered Accountant. In Ontario, Canada it is the most highly respected accounting designation there is. The career is known internationally thus I could pretty much be an accountant anywhere and in any country (all I’d have to do is write an exam to show I know the differences between Canadian accounting and that country’s accounting).

I’m currently majoring in accounting at university. So I’m on my way.
