With the summer and packing for a move this one has been out the window for weeks. I may just give this one up because with me being a college student and having a 2 year old, the only time I get peace enough to study is usually after 10:30…

Since I’ve started back to school I’ve had a lot of homework and the only time I can get it done is after my little one has gone to bed, which usually means I’m doing homework from 10-12. Such is the life of a college student and that’s the way it’ll have to be for now. I’ll still keep this on my list because it is a goal I’d like to achieve….maybe by the end of this year.
I’ve been letting this one slip since August. I was doing well but then having to drive to Texas and trying to find things to keep busy while hubby’s away just made me not stick to this. But as I said I need to get back to it. I find that the loneliness of him being gone usually over takes me when I stay up late so this could help.
so last night I turned off the ringer and went to bed, falling asleep almost instantly. It helps that I’ve been back to exercising so my body was really tired.
since my hubby has been in a differnt time zone. He usually calls me between 11:30-12 my time….ah well…you do what you can as a military wife to boost moral.
the last week or more I’ve gotten really off track with this one. I was shutting down the pc by 10:30 and in bed by 11 but it gradually got later and later. The last 3 nights I haven’t gotten in bed before 1am! And whether or not I get enough sleep, my baby boy is going to wake up at 7:30a and want his breakfast. So I’ve started the reminders again and tonight I am getting off this pc at 10:00 to get stuff done and be in bed by 10:30
by 10:30 and I usually do, then I have my “me” time of reading a book and having a cuppa sleepy time tea then it’s off to bed by 11…most nights.
I haven’t even been keeping my 11pm commitment either. And to make matters worse, I’ve been napping in the afternoon, so when 11 comes ‘round I’m not tired. I didn’t nap today and I’m gonna play so DDR (which ususally tires me out when I try the levels above what I normally do) and hopefully that’ll do the trick.
on track with this one. The last 3-4 nights I’ve been staying up until 12:30 again and boy can I feel the lack of sleep catching up with me! I’m going to make sure I don’t take a nap today so I can got to bed early tonight.
cuz I’m expecting a call from my friend in Germany. At least I was able to schedule her call and get a long nap in earlier this afternoon so I won’t really be missing any sleep.
