I’m grateful for:
1. The pretty little pre-lit wreath I bought today.
2. My quiet time playing the piano.
3. How encouraging my daughter was when she listened while I played drums.

I am grateful for:
1. Getting to watch It’s A Wonderful Life again.
2. My mindfulness activity today: Doing laundry.
3. Christmas Songs. These songs make me happy any time of year.
4. Having the day off.
5. Finding fun vids on youtube.
I am grateful for:
1. Finding a hairstylist that is reasonably price, doesn’t take all day to do my hair and doesn’t talk my ear off while she does it.
2. For hearing a great message at church today entitled Getting It Together. Great prep for 2009.
3. For my mindfulness activity of washing dishes.
4. For being able to stay on my eating plan without craving sugar.
5. For seeing my Mom look really happy today.
1. For unexpected moments when I feel joyful just because I am.
2. For the momentum I am having with staying on my eating plan.
3. For getting in 30 mins of exercise. It’s been hard getting back on the bandwagon.
4. For getting home safely. It was snowing really hard at rush hour.
5. For my daily phone call from my Mom.
1. Getting to watch Law and Order tonight.
2. Having a laugh with my daughter. I enjoy her sense of humor.
3. Staying on my eating plan today.
4. Bubblebaths.
5. Feeling a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day.
1. The positive and supportive response I got after I spoke up for myself today.
2. Fruit cake. I’m probably the only person in America who actually likes fruitcake—and will admit it!
3. Salad that I had for dinner. It helped me not feel so guilty about eating the fruitcake.
4. Safely getting through rush hour traffic.
5. That it’s Thursday and tomorrow is FRIDAY!!!!
1. Being able to go to work today after having a yucky stomach flu yesterday.
2. Getting a significant amount of work done today and feeling a sense of accomplishment.
3. Talking to a friend tonight to make plans for a trip in January.
4. Talking to Mom tonight and hearing her sound so joyful.
5. Quiet time at home.
Today I am grateful for:
1. Having had this long weekend to just be quiet and mindful.
2. Bookstores—where I can immerse myself for hours at a time.
3. Fruit—as much as I enjoy it I rarely eat any. This must change.
4. Being able to come back to this site and catch up with friends, even when I’ve been away for quite some time.
5. Having another opportunity to work on reaching my goals.
1. for all that I have learned this year.
2. that I know that I can always improve areas of my life that I am not happy with.
3. for being better area to accept myself as I am, even without said improvements.
4. for living through another year.
1. Quiet times at home.
