change jobs

Today I finished at 2:00pm
I am breathing easier already : )

last week as the E.D. at the museum.
the pressure to leave clean, tidy files
and finished projects wars with the desire
to just leave ...let it all go and ((sigh)) relax.

Had a long conversation with someone I hope applies for my job. She’s coming out to visit the centre on Monday to have a look around… hopefully I can highlight all the fabulous things about the job, cuz I know that she could do it in her sleep and I would feel so great about leaving the historical society in her capable hands.

have told nearly everyone in my social circle now… may have some leads on a replacement, which is good since they want me to train someone for a whole month. But that will only happen if the Board gets busy and actually looks for someone!

Decided on a plan, and presto!

Quitting my job at the end of May and driving cross-country with my hubby and my dog to a new land of opportunity and challenges!
