Just catching my breath, these days, is a big deal.

Too much travelling. Too much purging and reconfiguring everything. Too much trying to forge a new plan and taking care of all the details and all the people. I’m exhausted. Deadlines will have to be extended.

At 5:30 (way too early for a 1:30 am bedtime) this morning, Talon (catperson) woke me – wanting to be loved up. By 6 am I was drinking coffee and doing Morning Pages.

Mostly the 3 pages got filled with ToDo lists: remember this and that; don’t forget to call so ‘n so; DreamWeaver issues and tasks; product development issues, tests, timelines; protocols for new strategies; graphics that need to be created; research needing done; Drupal tasks; eBook notes; transfers to other software; tasks related to the switch to UberCart; podcast, workshop, on-demand scheduling; internal wiki purging and updates; backing up everything before flying to New York next week;
those Quark files … By the time I was finished the Pages I was exhausted and clearly overwhelmed.

Finding an online assistant to work with and bounce with is ever more enticing. (That’s something else that needs doing – get the info about the work onto the website by the deadline)

And I would love it! Not that I love it when my butt (or but) needs kicking – more like I had found and connected enough with this person that s/he is confident, insightful and honest enough to see and respond to the fact that I’m draggin’. Nothing is moving forward.

I think I need to cross-fertilize today. Too much writing, web development and studying for my certification lately. Need to throw some paint to get myself out of this funk. Maybe I need to pet fabric. Maybe just colouring – outside the lines. And I need a music bath. First though, Morning Pages (It’s already 10:15 am)

I also know that I wasn’t able to be any more succinct. In fact, there are all sorts of other things I’d like to add. Including, I want to work with someone who is as interested in using his/her talents for good as well as gain.
