So I finished the first draft of my latest short story… I think its pretty good now. I am trying a new narrative style, using lots of indirect discourse and I think it worked. The story is called “Bank Robbers Die” and it addresses a lot of themes that are going on i my life right now… Like robbing banks.

Just kidding.

Its a slow process, especially when I’m balancing my Senior English Thesis on top of it, but last night I made big progress. I project finishing my first draft by the end of the week (which of course probably means end of next week…)
Writing is one of those things that is so easy to put off, but really the most important thing is to stay regular and make a habit of doing it everyday. After all, you never know when you will get that great idea…
