Québec was integrated by force to Canada a few hundred years ago and still is. Our people, The Québécois, deserves its own country. Canada is a great place, but Canadians are different from us and because of their superior numbers, they get to decide everything, so laws and social measures do not represent our beliefs. In 1995, the referendum on Québec separation was almost a tie at 49.4% of Québécois opted for the separation option and 50.6% decided to remain in Canada. However, the Canadian Parliament sent a lot of non-Québécois in the province in weeks previous the referendum to vote against the separation, which may have altered the result. The separation is inevitable, sooner or later, our people will understand the necessity of leaving Canada and building our own Country, voting our own laws, deciding our own social measures, representing ourselves at the UN, etc.
