I just went out and bought a new book yesterday called quickstart bass.

It’s alot more informal than the traditional “school” bass books. It even has these like inspirational quote thingys, at parts where you might get frustrated and set it down.

I’ve learned, musical notation is nice. But boring as nuts when one just wants to learn to play.
