finish my parents christmas presents

I need to get working on this goal. seriously working.

i actually worked on it today.

falls over

but produced nothing. sounds sort of like the story of my life.

I have to start from scratch on this. I did some boppin around on the internet today and downloaded a program that I thought would be helpful… and for some people it would be.

one of the reasons I want to do this for my parents though is so I can make the font BIG so that they can read it (as their eyes aren’t getting any better as they age).

I’m thinking about doing an excel spreadsheet, but I think I should go with a word document as mum and dad aren’t so swift with excel.

I also have a memory stick I’d bought just for this purpose. my parents computer doesn’t have XP on it or something so blah blah blah. plan B?

i started a telephone/address book for my parents before christmas last year. I gave it to them, but still haven’t finished it. I had been typing it on my boyfriends computer, but when we split, he got the computer, and i never got the info. So now i need to start all over. Maybe as i have some time off this next week and a half i can at least get started. it may also be helpful if i could borrow a laptop to use during my time of being bed bound. maybe i should look into that.
