meet gerard way

I know that I posted this on 43 people, but I figured I’d post it again, because it’s important to me. Gerard Way has been a great inspiration to me through out the years. His thinking and points of view on the music industry are very true, and I agree with him a ton. When you make music, you shouldn’t want to be ordinary. You should strive to be bigger and better and change people’s lives and ways of thinking. And what he does, what My Chemical Romance does, is extraordinary. I went to their concert, then went home and started writing music about abortionists and green peace. Crazy, ‘eh? And also, I love his story and how it’s so redemption-centered. He was this wicked fucked up kid, and now he’s still messed-up, but he’s got a better sense on how to live his life and how to change others. After he’s done with My Chemical Romance, I want to find him and talk him into managing me for my musical career. Or just pick his brain over Korean sushi in New York. Either one would do.
