Ha! Ok I’ve got back into this now. I’m gonna do it slowly but surely. here’s the plan:
1. Practice HEADstands against a wall until I can balance well enough to take my feet off the wall.
2. Practice headstands with my feet off the wall until I can balance on a dime.
3. Practice handstands against a wall until I can balance well enough to take my feet off the wall.
4. Practice handstands without the wall.
Ten minutes EVERY DAY. Currently at stage 1. Today was my first attempt, and my balance isn’t as bad as I feared. Videoing my progress and will compile them at the end and put on Youtube to try and help other people.

Um… I attempted this yesterday morning against a wall on the park just over the road from me… couldn’t even get 70% of the way up. Only thing I got out of it was an achey left thigh, and it feels so much worse today.
I guess I’m not ready for this just yet…

Well, the main reason I haven’t tried handstanding sooner is because I never had the space anywhere, but about a week ago we turfed the garden, and since there’s a fence alongside the lawn, it’s the perfect place for me to practice. Maybe I’ll attempt it against the fence this evening. =)
