Got it cut about six months ago now, the first I’ve had it cut in 2 years, and even to this day I still get compliments about how good I look now that I’ve had it cut. My love life has improved, which I attribute in part to the new look I’m sporting. Well worth it.

I have not had a hair cut in almost two years. It’s getting ridiculously long, but four things are contributing to me putting it off.
- People telling me to get it cut. When someone tells me to do something in this way, I usually go out of my way to do the opposite.
- A bet I have with my friend, to see who can go longest without a haircut. It’s only $20, so this isn’t that bad.
- I’m in a band and it looks way cooler to have long hair in a band.
- Everytime I think of getting it cut, I think of all the time I put into growing it. It seems like such a waste to spend so long doing something only to get rid of it like that.
Then again, there are a few things that make me want to get it cut.
- It’s hard to maintain. I actually need to condition my hair now, something I never did before. It also gets way greasy because it’s long.
- It looks cool and all, but I think I need to get a change in styles, because it’s getting a little old.
So I’ve decided that I will get it cut on the day of my graduation this year, just so that I can show up and surprise everyone.
