A few things that help me update more frequently:

  • Write a draft with a few lines of any thoughts potentially bloggable. You can always expand or delete them later. Waiting until you feel as if you can write an entire post sometimes backfires, as you forget many of your original thoughts.
  • Write when you feel like it, only. Or else it’ll suck ass. Use those opportunities to write a few entries at a time, or start a few.
  • Schedule your posts in advance. It takes a lot of pressure off of you.
  • Be less wordy, but wordy enough. The longer a post is, the more work it takes to write and to read. So energy is lost on both sides for your next entry.
