I took four years of high school Spanish and got very, very good at it. In fact my teacher trusted me enough a few times to teach her first year class (whilst the substitute supervised) while she was gone because she did not want them to fall behind. I put so much effort into it, it’d be a shame to lose some skill. I can still easily read it and write it, but learning to speak and interpret what you hear, is difficult. I think I’ll watch some movies in Spanish, with and without English subtitles, and then in English in Spanish subtitles, to help. I think I’d also like to obtain some advanced Spanish textbooks (I used to have some old ones that were great, got them from my old teacher). Reading every day Spanish will also help, I think.
