Collect the fifty American state quarters

cleaning out my coin collection, I found another quarter for my collection – so I actually have 22, not 21 as orginally thought.

I found out the other day that I might be heading to the states for work next year (very exciting), so I’m hoping it will give me a chance to collect the ones I don’t have.

the US State Quarters back in 2004 when I travelled to Hawaii for work. While I was there I managed to collect 21 out the 50, which wasn’t bad considering only about 30 had been released by then.

Over Christmas I found a display folder specifically designed to hold the quarters (which was rare seeing as how I was in Australia!) and it’s reinvigorated my wish to collect them. I’ve put the 21 I have in the display folder now I just need to start hunting around for the others. I might need to do a trip over to the states to tick this goal off!
