go to grad school

I might be going to grad school sooner than I had planned (fall `09). I called one of the schools I was looking at and they do not require a BFA to be accepted into the program. I was a little freaked out by the idea of going sooner rather than later because I don’t have my shit together yet, but I’m definitely working on it. I’m about to call a couple other schools to get some information and see if they don’t require a BFA either. It’s exciting but intimidating all at once.

I was at Tommy’s Burger enjoying a chili-burger with a friend when she said that I should go to grad school. Within 30 minutes I had come to a soft decision that I should go to grad school and get a masters in arts. Within the next few weeks to months, I decided that I should move to San Fransisco to follow my passions in art and obtain a better understanding of what it means to be an artist and to get some extra training and skills under my belt before I get into the business world of making art for a living.
