This is an old trick i learned years ago with school work, but it works great with cleaning too to keep you motivated and focused: Challenge yourself!
Set a timer for 15-30 minutes and see how much you can get done in that period of time. If you feel you still feel like cleaning (and I do once i actually start doing it), go ahead and set another timer,clean for that time, and so on. dont set it for too long or you will feel like “meh i got all day to do this” just go chunks at a time but promise yourself for that period of time, you will get done as much as you can!
