So one of the main obstalces to me actually completeing this goal is the fact that I still live with my parents and my mother greatly disapproves of any and all body modifications. The reaction she had to my cousin get his piercing was priceless though did not bode well for me springing a tattoo on her. As a result, I’ve been working on her, trying to get her to understand the deeper meaning this would have for me. The fact that I am doing this for myself and not a fashion statement, that fact that the place I want this tattoo, will not let it show while I am wearing clothes, even more revealing outfits would still hid it.
And after all this, she seems to be resigning herself to the fact that this is going to happen.
I think that I will start looking for a good artist now and still make sure to keep her in the loop and see how that goes.
