A simple thing, but this makes me really happy. I love it when I’m entering a highway, and the cars already on the highway pull into the other lane, so I can easily get on.

It’s basic courtesy and saftey. And it makes me very happy.

with my current trainer.

He knows when to take me seriously and he knows when to poke fun at me…and he knows when to push….
He makes me giggle.
I’m so concerned that someday he will move on to better things…

Walking through the streets early this am, I noted among the election campaign signs, a neatly printed one with a American flag on it that simply said “Impeach Bush” I thought it was grrrreat. Made me happy.

Undivided attention.#64  — 2 years ago

today at the gym I was crunching away when my friend ROb walked in. I said Hi, and thought he would continue into the locker rooms, but instead he stopped, waited for me to finish off my straight leg crunching and sat down on one of those exersise balls and we talked for about 6 minutes. He is soo great. He was so totally present with me. Of course all we talked about was workouts, hair and how he was….but still to have someone so intently focused on me…it was pretty nice. It’s an excellent gift we all can give. Undivided attention.

Co-workers.
Really good co-workers.

I work in an extraordinary environment. Probably because we spend long periods of time together at a stretch, we are really like family.
Today while it wasn’t exciting, was sort of a love fest of happy co-workering…
Nice.
I’m lucky to work with such talented, funny, and caring people.

I love to travel.
Although I am not fond of flying.
Having the time and money to do this, and enjoy it surely makes me happy.
Hoping this year to also simply travel for pleasure and not encounter any famine, etc….

when I turn on the radio and a song I love, that is rarely played and I don’t own, comes on the radio, at the beginning, and I am mid drive, so don’t have to turn it off, and can enjoy it the whole way through!!!! WOnderful for dashboard drumming and looking kooky while driving!

socks and underwear. Especially sock though. They have such a great feel on my feet when they are new and fluffy. I found some socks my mom gave me for Christmas last year (big budget we have!) and they were just so nice and fluffy and comfy. Going to run in them today.
