sent an email to the CEO of Travelocity. to complain about the nightmare that I experienced. I guess I am not reaching this goal, though the spirit of the goal was not to complain about “Luches always are bad” or “oh no its raining” That I am doing well with. Getting Pissed off….well, that was on a different level. Don’t use travelocity their agents well, kind of stink.

I felt a little bit under the weather on Sunday at work. My patience was very limited.
I mentioned this to one of the Medics and he said I seemed to be pretty upbeat for feeling sick.
I wonder exactly when this can go off the list….
Hmmm
Last night one of the Medics at work said to me, “You are always smiling, It’s refreshing here to see that” People do tend to get a little burnt out of patients hystrionics. Patient always seem to believe that they are near death, when they are actually they then protest it and say they aren’t. It can get very annoying. Still I find it interesting.
Unfortunately right after all that I had to spend a few minutes complaining about the really horrific nurse that makes no sense who gave me report and left me a bit of a mess.
So I guess I’m about 50/50 on this.
this is still a goal on my list. Well. I am not much of a complainer lately. i think I’ll think on it and probably take it off….
I could have sworn I had already “completed” hmmm.
a year has gone by since my last entry about complaining!
Well, I am a complainer at the gym still, with the trainer mostly.
But I did work a 12 hour shift yesterday when we were severely understaffed, I had an extra patient (sounds simple, but even keeping my paperwork straight didn’t go very well), we had a code, then I ended up getting 4 beds at once, so I then got 4 new patients at once…and i really didn’t complain, though I did pray a lot about getting through the day.
It made the day easier I think, and I am sure my co-workers enjoyed not hearing moaning and groaning.
worse at the complaints at the gym. true I’m out of shape, and such…but now I complain and stop doing the exersise. I can see trainer working with others and they are not making any complaint. Of course they aren’t doing 45 min of squats either…
Next Weds. Complaint free session…the only thing I’m allowed to say is “I want some more” (unless my hand hurts, then a warning is allowed.)
I was talking to Trainer today and I said, “I think I’m getting better about complaining” and he said, “Actually its been an extraordinary improvement that I’ve noted in the last 2 weeks” So, I am excited. Will keep it up and also try to be sure I am not whining at work, and then I think I’ll be able to check it off!!!!
I got through a session with the trainer without a real complaint. I will freely admit though, I almost shed a tear on the Hack squat machine. It was that hard, really.
Still. He and I both agreed that the session was far more pleasant than last time, though he did remind me that he always has “worse” clients than I.
I’m pleased with my discipline. Becuase I really wanted to whine.
Not a huge problem for me. But still at the gym, I just whine and whine and whine. Today I was actually bitter. Trainer was just pushing so hard, and I was just being so lazy. It was a bad combo, I know he was irritated and disappointed. I was also irritated and disappointed…
So, I am planning a complain free workout for Thursday. Curious to see how that goes. I never complain when I work out alone…and if I do, I just tell myself to suck it up…Don’t know why trainer brings it out in me.
