get better at horseback riding

Today wasn’t a good day for me and Leija (my sister’s 7-year old mare), as she was her nervous self and I felt a bit clumsy after a couple of weeks without riding. However, I did realize something about collecting her canter. Maybe next time we’ll do better together.

As for riding, you can never get good enough, right? Moreover, I want to learn to understand horses more deeply than I do now, to the point that sometime in the future I’ll be able to train a horse from the very beginning myself.
