find a new job

I got a call today. I’m going to take the job. It’s telemarketing. I’m not excited about it at all but it’s just to allow me to get cash! And..I also got another gig to promote a new product on the weekends from my tv filming I did tonight so those two should set me straight until…(I just hope until is not far again).

It really takes alot to get that job you want. Haven’t been on here for a week b/c I’m so caught up in putting portfolios and resumes together. It can be exhausting and depressing at times but I’m on the brink of some interesting stuff that I have to keep my head afloat. So I’m doing what I’ve got to do.

So there’s a position open for a Tourist guide and I sent in my application last Friday. I’m kinda hoping I get this one, because it’s something I’d totally enjoy. And there’s also the option of being part-time, which will allow me the flexibility of taking more classes to finish my degree faster, as well as I can do extra private jobs of doing graphics (which I’m enjoying right now)! Oh and the added satisfaction that I can run away to the beach hehe :P

So I’ve been thinking whether to find a job or go to school full time from next semester. Pro’s of going to school is that I’ll finish my courses faster and most likely be able to finish my Associates by the desired time of July and I’ll have one major thing to focus on and I’ll probably be getting better grades. Con’s of going to school is the obvious: money. I’ve been financially independent for the last five years so it’s going to be “new” to go back to wondering how the heck am I going to get money to do the things I want to do. Yip…this is contemplation alright!
