Help improve the Trinidad & Tobago page on 43places

I’ve been working on this…but alot more fixing can be done. So, I’ll be continually posting on 43places and updating pics as much as I can. It’s time people see more of T&T and the changes that has been going on. Plus….there are alot more places of interest that can be added to showcase my country. I’m marking it done but will continue throughout the year.

I’ll be spending much time uploading some real pics of T&T. Now all I need is to figure out a way to restructure the entire hierarchy and get some other unrelated photos deleted.

So I sent the Robots a nice long email on here explaining that no one is taking me on over on 43places. And now I go over there and there are some changes :) Sweet!!! There are actual links for Trinidad and Tobago on the page one (which was one of the things I mentioned) and I’m starting to see some better pictures…and the “Improve this page link” is working again. I still can’t seem to find a link to upload photos of my own but it’s an improvement. Hopefully things will continue to improve on their end so that I can getting going with this goal again.

I was just over there and my goodness…maybe I need to spend some more time on the site because it’s seemingly very difficult to follow in terms of reporting problems. It’s not at all like 43things where your report goes to the Robots and they reply. I’ve seen people’s ‘problems’ sitting there waiting for a reply. It’s a bit frustrating. There are alot of wrong photos and duplicated places under the T&T page and I can’t seem to find a way to report it. Apparently, (I may be wrong) but they pull pictures off of Flickr that are tagged the name of the place. Now…that is the dumbest thing ever. Firstly, if there is no way of verifying that the photos they are pulling are actually the place it’s being uploaded under; who’s stating the difference between the pictures of Trinidad as the country to Trinidad the city in Cuba? I’ve seen pictures of sneakers and guinea pigs because it has the name of somewhere in Trinidad lol. I laugh but it’s frustrating and I guess this is going to take more work than I expected.
