Ok so I was watching this PBS special, (don’t ask me why), on NOVA and well, they said the Northern Lights could:

1. Expose astronauts to dangerous forms of
radiation from the Sun.

2. Cause major black outs all around the entire
globe.

3. And cause major weather/climate changes everywhere.

Huh, who knew something so beautiful could be so deadly.
