Perform belly dance in the student showcase

Hooray! A new venue has been found and a new date set for January 31st. I’ve finally got a copy of the music and my friend and I have begun designs for my costume. Woot.

Due to a problem with the venue, the Student Showcase has been postponed until after the holidays. I’m still going to do it. This will give us all a bit more time to practice and work on our costumes. It’s all good.

I’m all signed up to perform a Saidi stick dance in my Middle Eastern dance school’s Student Showcase. It will take a lot of work to learn the choreography, polish it, and make a costume, but I think I’m finally up to the challenge.
