go to a spa

I saw this elephant being lifted onto the roof with a crane and did a double take. Not everyday you see an elephant in Alice Springs.
The place is gonna be a day spa and hair lounge,
I wonder what treatments they will offer. Pachyderm pampering, trunk facial, tusk wraps, jumbo massage and dumbo mud baths?
In the hair lounge is Babar the barber?
Actually the hair lounge bit makes me think of piles of hair lying around, watching Oprah, eating bon bons and having a great old gossip sess.
I know it would be cheaper to go to a spa in Asia but this one is so convenient and I just think well I could do a day at the spa in lots of places. Can never have too many of those days right!

Well I haven’t managed the luxury of a day at the spa yet. But I am in training for it, I got a pedicure. It was wonderful. I sat in a big comfy chair and read a magazine while my feet were soaked and spruced up and made all gorgeous. I did feel sorry for the poor girl who had to touch my fusty feet but she didn’t complain.
I didn’t leave my feet in the dryer long enough as we had to rush to go pack because our flight back to NZ was that night. So the polish smudged a bit. But it is still dazzling.
