legally change my name

It’s done! It’s official. I had the final hearing on my name change this past week. I had to give a little speech on why I wanted to change it, including the significance of each name. I changed my middle name and my last name. It was kind of annoying because the magistrate was all, how do your husband and kids feel about it. WTF it’s 2010! but anyway my husband feels fine about it. He indulges my eccentricities :)
