(Sie sprechen is formal, du sprichtst is non formal. If someone is staying at your home, I assume you know them and its ok to use du)

replace napkin for anything; fork, water, etc. For a “new” something, add “neue” pronounced noy-eh. Eine neue Gabel (fork).

(I learned wie viel (vie feel) kostet eine Taxi). Wie viel is how much is a taxi, was kostet is what does it cost.

over Schlussel is what is called an umlaut. They are 2 little dots over the U. Like Motley Crue, over the U. It changes the sound of the vowel slightly. Umlauts are cool. Even cooler are Eszetts. Instead of writing S twice like strasse (street), Germans use a little symbol that looks like an B-- daß
