The plan didn’t quite go as smoothly as either of us had hoped. We were both getting each other new Claddagh rings for our two-year anniversary. Hers came and it was beautiful! It had a small sapphire in the center of the heart. But her ring had issues.
- The sapphire was much much much too dark.
The only way you could tell it was blue and not black was if you took it out into direct sunlight mid day and blinded yourself from the reflection it gave off. - The band was too thick for her.
I knew it would be too thick so I told her about it and had the ring sent back for a partial refund and a different ring.
MEANWHILE: In China Town.. Or my college
I striking the set for a Dinner Theatre and my ring was misplaced.. To this day nobody knows where it went. One minute it was on my finger, the next minute I was washing the grease and blood off of my hand and I don’t remember if my ring was on my finger afterward or not.
Anyway, She had to give me my ring early and she didn’t get her ring until about a week ago.
Alls well that ends well, right?
